This dynamic sport began in New Zealand and has quickly spread throughout Australia and America.
Jet Sprint boat racing is very similar to rally car racing, except that it takes place on water.
Each boat carries a crew of two, a driver and a navigator. A typical race involves memorising a sequence of up to 22 directional changes on a course made up of narrow channels and islands.
The driver task is to correctly complete the course in the fastest possible time, the navigator assist the driver with directions by means of hand signals. The teams compete against the clock and a sophisticated timing system records each boats time to 100th of a second. The winner is the team to complete the course in the correct rotation in quickest time.

The Albins gears are made from a proprietary grade steel billet that is then cut and heat treated to exacting standards then cross-checked via a robotic CMM machine that analyses any discrepancies brought about by heat treatment. This process is part of Albins ISO 9001/2000 quality assurance and can be done prior to the final anti-fatigue shot-peening process which is another point of difference we love about this product. Fatigue life can be extended on certain components by up to 8 times that of a non-treated component and when we are talking gears, this is a major plus with the Albins product and results in less pitting and wear. Ratios work great for both street and track and pricing is extremely competitive for a product that has come out of a factory that makes product for factory rally teams, Dakar rally podium finishers, Baja 1000 winners and top level touring car teams across the globe.

We have tested this set undergoing both street and track testing for over 1yr. now in the 800-950whp range with zero failures, and has run 9.4 sec in the 1/4 mile at 164+ mph during testing. These gears are a very exciting product for those who need extreme strength along with quiet, streetable operation for their xtreme street/strip vehicle.

Designed as a direct fitment 1-4 set (use stock 5th gear), into stock B series casings, these gears are helically cut and are designed to share the thrust loads more evenly through the B series gearbox casing unlike some straight cut gears. Another added benefit to the Albins design is REPLACEABLE 3rd/4th engagement cones/dog teeth that are usually built onto the gear. With Albins, even if you damage the dog teeth, you can replace this part without the added expense of having to purchase a whole new replacement gear!

D16 Turbo Engines - Reasons Why the Car is Amazing

The EF Civic was made from 1988-1991, which was really the first generation of Civics where people started to tune.  They came with a D16 engine or you might find one with a B16 in it, which was the top model Civic.  The EF Civic is tunable and it also has been know to be able to reach over 500 hp with stock sleeves on the engine.  Before we get into those good features, lets look at the money savings.
With an EF Civic, your insurance should be some of the cheapest on the market.  This is mostly due to the high quantity of cheap parts available for it, just in case something happens.  With this car, your gas mileage  should be the highest out of any car you've ever had, simply because it is such a light car.
Being safe is always a number one priority in cars.  With the Civic EF model, you are able to see almost a clear 360 degree view of everything around you.  Almost the entire mid-section of the car is windows, giving the best visibility options in the older model cars.  It also has some good seats, along with strong seat belts.  The entire car has a wide wheel base for being such a short car.  This feature adds to the strength and solidness of the entire car.
If you are looking to tune a Civic EF, their motors have a wide selection of parts available in the car market.  Since they are so old, many have been scrapped and parts are being sold all over major sites like eBay and Craig's List.  The stock engines that come in the Civic EF are very strong and sturdy engines.  Many have been known to get as high as 250,000 miles+ on the engine without having major mechanical issues.  This feature is attracting to many Civic tuners, as they can add more modifications without the engine being as affected as much as an engine more prone to break down would be.
Some people who like to turbo their D16 engines don't even need to change their original sleeves or anything!  However, there are others who like to swap out motors, like the guy from AutoMotionCE did with his 1990 Turbo Civic EF when he went from the D15 to the D16ZC and made the D16 turbo.Stock D16 engine can handle 350hp on wheel.
